How do I generate the LinkedIn Unwrapped 2024
(Read me first)

Go to https://cleve.ai/unwrapped to get yours for free. No sign in required.
Enter your LinkedIn profile link (make sure this is correct) and a valid email. If you see an error, double check your profile link.
You'll then get your Unwrapped. For best results, wait 1 more min for the PDF to get prepared. The webpage will be smoother after that. Hover over the data to see your interactive results.
Scroll down to get your PDF (it's under the Interactive Unwrapped). You can then download the PDF or download the images.
Copy the suggested text.
Then share to LinkedIn. To post a PDF (carousel), click the (+) button to attach document. You can alternatively post specific pictures as images.

The LinkedIn Unwrapped is taking very long to load

Try the following steps

Recommended: use a laptop or a PC instead as the data processing can be a bit heavy for some phones.
Refresh the page and re-enter your details.

If you have a very large profile, 500+ posts per year, this process can take up to 3 mins.
If you have an extremely large profile, 1000+ posts per year, the system may not be able to cope. Unfortunately it wouldn't be possible to support your account at this point in time due to some system limitations.

My LinkedIn Unwrapped isn't downloading as a PDF // my PDF is processing forever.

The PDF does take some time to be prepared. Please wait 1-2 mins for this to finish loading. It does work better on your laptop / PC.

Some phones have issues downloading PDF's. We recommend using a laptop or PC instead. You can enter your details again in https://cleve.ai/unwrapped to get the same report.

I'm getting an error when putting in my linkedin profile and email. Failed to fetch, HTTP500.

Most likely your LinkedIn profile link was keyed in incorrectly. Try to double check your profile link. it should be in the format: https://www.linkedin.com/in/yourname

We recommend copying and pasting that again.

I don't know how to get my profile link

On mobile:

Open your LinkedIn profile page
Click the 3 dots
Click share via... (copy)

On laptop:

Open your LinkedIn profile
Highlight the link in the address bar (top bar)
Copy it

My profile picture isn't visible in the Unwrapped

This is most likely due to your profile picture privacy settings. Usually it's set to public, but when setting up you might have selected "visible to my network only".

Unfortunately even if you update this setting, we wouldn't be able to retrieve your profile immediately. It would take about 2-3 months for the data to update to external parties.

My LinkedIn Buddies is wrong

This is a tricky one. We designed our AI system to try to identify with a high probability who your LinkedIn buddies would be. This is based on the comments on your posts.

While most people have relevant buddies, the model does get it wrong sometimes. Especially for larger profiles with hundreds of comments, it's hard to identify the regular commenters effectively. Everyone on your buddies list definitely commented on your posts at least once before.

Unfortunately there isn't a fix for this, what we recommend doing is downloading the images and converting it into a PDF, excluding the buddies slide.

We recommend you give your real buddies a shoutout in your post too :)

Some of my data is missing at the earlier part of the year (Jan, Feb, Mar)

Cleve's LinkedIn Unwrapped is designed to retrieve up to 600 posts a year. If you have more than 600 posts, there may be some of your earliest posts that cannot be retrieved.

We are able to manually retrieve the posts beyond 600, but this service is only offered for users who are Cleve Pro subscribers.

Recently we've observed some issues affecting users who were below the 600 threshold though, so if you think you're one of those cases, do reach out in the customer support chat!

I didn't receive the PDF. Was it sent to my email?

The PDF is available in the final page of the LinkedIn Unwrapped, right below the Interactive online version. You should see a download PDF button there.

In my LinkedIn Unwrapped it's showing someone else's profile photo and data / it's totally wrong!

Most likely this is due to an incorrect LinkedIn profile link. Try double checking that and then resubmitting your LinkedIn Unwrapped at https://cleve.ai/unwrapped

I'd like to refresh/regenerate my LinkedIn Unwrapped as I generated it first a few weeks ago

For Cleve Pro subscribers, we do help with regenerating your LinkedIn Unwrapped a maximum of 2 times. This can capture more data towards the end of your year.
If you re-enter your details it would retrieve your first generation, rather than regenerate.
The LinkedIn Unwrapped costs quite a lot to generate, and we can't afford to absorb the costs of regenerating them, especially as a small startup. Appreciate your understanding!

Add the caption, then select images (you can select all or just select specific images)
Then post

Post as a document (carousel/slides layout)
