Mobile Navigation & Overview

How to move around the Click Maint CMMS mobile app.

Users log in and arrive at the Work Orders module. Tap on any module icon from the Main Menu, along the bottom of the screen, to open it. If you’re linked to multiple entities, make sure to tap the More icon (...) to switch between them.

The Click Maint CMMS app has the following modules:

  • Work Orders

  • PMs

  • Assets

  • Requests

  • QR Codes

  • Locations

  • *Parts (coming soon!)

Moving around each module is similar.

What you can see, add, edit, or even delete in the app has to do with your user role and permission settings. If you encounter issues, contact your administrator to verify your access rights.

Work Orders Module

By default, all users log in to the Work Orders module. This module contains both your Reactive and Preventive work order types. If it is listed when you first log in, it's an active work order and needs to be completed. There are several features in this module to help you locate both your Reactive and Preventive work orders.

Key Word Search

Click in the key work search field and type in any work to help locate a specific work order in the main screen area. Results change instantly.

For example, if you know the exact work order ID #, enter it to quickly locate it.

Filter

Click the filter icon to open the filter screen and narrow your WO search.

  • Select specifics from the dropdowns, then the Apply Filter button.

  • Hit the X button to go back to the main screen after you have used the filters.

  • To clear filters, click Clear, Apply Filters, then X.

Quick Filters

Depending on your user role, you may see All Active Work Orders or My Active Work Orders. Use the Quick Filter to change which active, Reactive and Preventive work orders are listed in the main screen area.

Create a New WO

Click the + button to open and fill in the New WO form.

  • Fill in all the required fields * and any other optional fields.

  • Click Attach File to allow camera or file access from your mobile.

  • Hit Save to keep the new WO.

  • Click Cancel to discard and go back.

Open, Edit, Complete WOs

Tap on a WO name to open, edit, and complete. Once a WO is open and displayed on your screen, you can:

  • Use the back arrow in the top left to get back to all WOs.

  • Use the Edit icon (pencil icon) at the top right to open and modify the original work order form.

  • Change the status by clicking on the Status box across the top.

  • The gray section on a work order is important. Notice the green line under that tab that you're viewing at the bottom of your screen. Tap on each tab to access the various WO sections, including:

    • Details - work order form information

    • Procedures & Checklists - any specific tasks to log

    • Cost & Time - add hours, parts, or other costs associated with the WO.

    • Comment - add pictures and comment to the work order

    • History - See all major modifications to the work order

  • Note that you can also hit the Start Timer button to automatically run a clock to calculate the time spent on this work order. You can stop the timer manually or when you close the work order.

PMs Module

When the Work Order icon is selected from the Main Menu bar along the bottom, tap on the PMs tab to open the PMs module.

These are not your PM work orders. This is where your PM data is stored. You can edit PMs moving forward, and you can get an idea what's coming up. Click Maint PMs generate automatically based on the scheduled date.

  • Tap on the PM name to view the PM details form then you can:

  • Click on the Planned button to select the Paused button.

    • Planned - generate as scheduled.

    • Paused - temporary stop to generate the work order.

  • Click on the edit icon to open the PM form and change the PM work order details for all future PMs of this type.

  • Click on the Active Now button to generate a PM early if needed.

  • Click on Active button to take you directly to the open Preventive Work Order.

Assets Module

View all the assets in your entity and see the work order history. There are a few features to help you move around the module.

  • Filter - Use the filter icon in the top right to search for specifics.

  • Search - Enter a keyword in the search field to find specific assets.

Click on an Asset name to open and view the asset details. Tap on the gray section to open different tabs about the asset, such as:

  • Details -Iimages, docs, and data about the asset.

  • Family - View and parent child relationship of the asset.

  • History - Access all the work order associated with the asset.

Use the Edit icon to open the Edit Asset form and modify asset information.

Add New Asset

Click on the + button to open the New Asset form and enter new asset information into the program. Don't forget to hit Save.

Requests Module

Add or manage requests, and once approved convert to a Reactive work order. There are a few tools to help you move around this module.

  • Filter Icon - Use the filter icon in the top right to search for specifics.

  • Search - Enter a keyword in the Search field to find specifics.

Tap on the request to open details and Approve, Decline, or put On-Hold. Use the edit icon (pencil icon) to modify request information.

QR Codes Module

Tap on the QR Code icon from the Main Menu to open your mobile camera. This scans the QR Code and allows you to:

  • Create a new work order

  • Create a new Request

  • View the Detail Card associated with a QR Code and asset, location, or part.

More Module

Click on the More icon (...) to:

  • Sign Out

  • Change Entities - select the entity from the dropdown list at the top of the account module to determine the details you're currently viewing in the app, including work orders, assets, etc.

  • Edit Personal Info:

    • Edit name

    • Change app language to French or Spanish

    • Delete your account from the app. This won't delete you as a User from desktop.

  • Change phone number

  • Change password

  • Edit push and email notifications

  • Locations - view location details within the entity selected at the top of the Account module

  • Connect with Click Maint Support team

Don't forget to hit Save after you make Account changes.
