Overview
Push Distribution automatically routes incoming leads to users or salespeople based on predefined rules and criteria. This method is ideal for organizations with consistent lead volume that want to ensure leads are distributed automatically without manual intervention, using either round-robin or weighted distribution methods.
Key Functionalities
Automated Distribution: Leads are automatically assigned to users based on configured rules.
Multiple Distribution Methods: Choose between Round Robin (equal rotation) or Weighted (percentage-based) distribution.
Flexible Routing Hierarchy: Distribute from Corporate to Branches, Branches to Users, or directly from Corporate to Users.
Advanced Criteria: Use field-based rules to filter which leads enter the distribution.
Volume Controls: Set hourly or daily limits to control the number of leads each user receives.
How to Configure Push Distribution
Step 1: Access Distribution Settings
Navigate to MORE > Settings > Setup Lead Routing > Lead Distribution.
Step 2: Create a New Strategy
Select the Record Type you're creating the distribution for.
Under the Push section, click Add Strategy.
Name your distribution strategy and click Create.
A customizable lead distribution with set Criteria (rules) to Push leads to Users. This is a good solution if your organization doesn't have the lead volume to support a Pull Distribution Strategy.

Step 3: Configure Settings
In the strategy configuration, set the following:
Distributed From: Choose the source level (Corporate or specific Branches).
Distribute Only to Active: When enabled, distributes only to users who have been active in ClickPoint recently.
Distribution Method:
Round Robin: Distributes leads evenly in rotation among all recipients.
Weighted: Distributes leads by percentage, allowing certain users to receive more leads than others.
Distribution Reset Interval:
Daily: Resets the distribution count each day.
Last 7 Days: Maintains distribution ratios over a 7-day period.
Step 4: Set Distribution Criteria (Optional)
Click Add in the Criteria section to create rules that determine which leads enter this distribution.
Configure each criterion using:
Field: Choose from system fields or custom lead fields.
Operator: Select from options like Equals, Contains, In, Not In, etc.
Value: Set the specific value the field must match.
Example criteria:
DoNotPhone Equals 'False'
MaxAge Less Than '10'
SystemStatus In 'New Lead, Waiting, Contacted'
Step 5: Add Recipients
Click Add in the Recipients section.
Select the users or branches who should receive leads.
Set distribution limits (optional):
Hourly Max: Maximum leads per hour
Daily Max: Maximum leads per day
Leave empty for unlimited distribution
For Weighted distribution, set the percentage weight for each recipient.

Best Practices
Start Simple: Begin with basic Round Robin distribution before implementing complex weighted systems or criteria.
Balance Workloads and Experiment Different Distribution Methods: Consider the use of Weighted distribution to give more leads to top performers while ensuring newer team members still receive opportunities, or allow Round Robin to ensure equal distribution of leads amongst your entire team.
Use Criteria for Segmentation: Create multiple push distributions with different criteria to route leads based on source, value, or other important attributes.
Monitor Performance: Regularly review distribution reports to ensure leads are being distributed as intended and adjust weights or criteria as needed.
Set Reasonable Limits: Use daily/hourly limits to prevent user overload while ensuring all leads get timely attention.
Troubleshooting
Leads are not being distributed to any users.
Check that the distribution is enabled and that recipients are active and not at their distribution limits. Verify criteria aren't too restrictive. One user is receiving all the leads.
In Round Robin, ensure multiple users are added as recipients. In Weighted, check that weights are distributed across multiple users.Leads are bypassing the distribution criteria.
Verify that lead data matches your criteria requirements. Check that all required fields are populated in incoming leads.Distribution limits aren't working.
Confirm that limits are set correctly and that the distribution reset interval aligns with your expectations.
