The Bidder Information Verification Tab clearly shows the actions available when verifying a Bidder.

When the “Accept Verification” appears and is green, you are able to verify a Bidder.

During this process you will be asked to do Two Factor Authentication.  Further information about this can be found here:  https://intercom.help/clicktopurchase/two-factor-authentication-new/two-factor-authentication-at-clicktopurchase

You may decide you would like to request a Bidder’s Initial Deposit from this Bidder.

You may have received a request to “Send my information” or “Send Seller Information”. You can clearly see whether you have completed the action.  We recommend the Selling Agent seeks the Seller's consent before forwarding information on the seller to the Bidder.

The green "Accept Verification" button will appear once you have completed the actions in the "Know Your Customer" area.

You can at any time request for a Bidder’s identity information and their authority to act.  The platform will clearly show when this has been requested.

Agency Level Options

The Administrator is able to select whether agents must respond to a Bidder’s request for identity information about the Selling Agent and/or the Seller.  This option is controlled in the My Account, Edit Business area.

If “Enforce Agent/Seller KYC Process” is ticked “Yes”:

  • If a Bidder has requested identity information when applying for verification, the Selling Agent is unable to “Accept Verification” until the requests have been actioned through the platform.

  • If a Bidder has NOT requested identity information when applying for verification, the Selling Agent is able to “Accept Verification” without needing to “Send my information” or “Send Seller information”.

If “Enforce Agent/Seller KYC Process” is ticked “No”:

  • If a Bidder has requested identity information when applying for verification, the Selling Agent is able to “Accept Verification” without needing to “Send my information” or “Send Seller information” through the platform.

  • If a Bidder has NOT requested identity information when applying for verification, the Selling Agent is able to “Accept Verification” without needing to “Send my information” or “Send Seller information” through the platform.

The Agency Administrator is also able to upload a preferred document which is issued should a request be submitted by a Bidder for information to confirm the Agent's authority to act on behalf of the Seller and that the Agent has verified the identity of the Seller.  In the absence of an upload, the system default documentation used is as follows.
