Focus:  The focus of this self-help article is to provide steps and information to export your Contacts to CSV.

What is a CSV?: A “CSV”, also known as a “comma separated value”, is a file that can be generated by many different types of programs to export contact information.

Used in Cliently?: CSV files can be used by Cliently in order to export your contacts directly into a CSV file, that could be opened by spreadsheet software such as Microsoft Excel. Once you have the file opened, you could also "Print" out your list of active contacts. Please note: We only export out “active” contacts from Deals. If you have “deleted” any contacts from Cliently, they will not be exported.

Workflow used for a contact?: In the CSV export, we include two columns, “Workflow Name” AND “Workflow Enabled”. This information is provided if a workflow was added to the contact.  Also if the flow was enabled “Workflow Enabled” will be set to 1, if the flow was disabled “Workflow Enabled” will be set to 0.

Step 1: Find Export Under Deals, find “Import/Export”.

Step 2: Selecting export and process Next, click on the “Export” section, then process the button “Export to CSV”.

Step 3: Accessing file. Once the export has been completed, you will be able to review the downloaded file.

Step 4: Example CSV: Here is an example of a CSV file downloaded from Cliently and opened in Microsoft Excel.
