Business travel, bought offsets from airline

You should still report flights for which you've already purchased offsets.

Moving forward, we’d actually prefer that you not offset through the airline and instead count that carbon in your annual total. It’s better to know your annual offsetting needs for bookkeeping and reporting. Plus, we can better track and verify the quality of the credits applied.

You should include proof of these offsets in your offset documentation. If the offsets meet our Standard they can be counted with your total offset purchases for the measuring year.
