Connections and endorsements are features we use to keep people at the center of the clinical education experience.

In this article we will cover how to:

  • Connect with other community members
  • Accepting or rejecting a connection request
  • Endorse community members

Connect with other Clinician Nexus Community Members

Connecting with other community members allows you to send them a direct message in Clinician Nexus.

To connect with people in Clinician Nexus:

  • Go to the person's Clinician Nexus profile. You can click the Search from your left dashboard menu to find people by name or organization.
  • Once on a person's profile, click the Connect button. This will automatically send them a connection request.
  • Once your connection request has been accepted, you can use the direct messaging feature!

Accepting or Rejecting a connection request

If someone requests to connect with you, you will be sent a notification. To view the request, accept, or reject it:

  • Click the Connections icon from your left dashboard menu
  • On the Connections page you will see all pending connection requests, active connections, and pending connections you've requested
  • Under Pending connection requests you can view people who requested to connect with you. You can click the green check mark to accept the connection request or the red "x" to reject the connection request.

Endorse Community Members

Endorse students, colleagues, partners, and others on Clinician Nexus. To do so:

  • Go to the person's Clinician Nexus profile. You can click the Search from your left dashboard menu to find people by name or organization.
  • Once on a person's profile, click the green Endorse button on a person's profile page.
  • In the Endorsement window, select this person's role, include a comment, and click Endorse
  • After you have endorsed someone, they will be sent a notification and will be given the option to show or hide your endorsement on their Clinician Nexus profile.
