In this article, we will cover how to:

  • Edit student information
  • Remove students
  • View removed or graduated students

Edit student information

Teaching institution coordinators have the ability to edit students' year of study, graduation date, and discipline from their Students page.

To do this:

  • Click Students from the left dashboard menu.

To edit all students in your student list at the same time:

  • Click Bulk edit y/y students at the top of your screen.

To edit a specific student or students:

  • Click the Select button next to each student you would like to edit.
  • Then click Bulk edit x/y students to edit the selected student(s) simultaneously.
  • In the Bulk edit window, you can adjust student year of study, graduation date, type, or remove a student from your teaching institution.
  • After making edits, click Update.

If you need to update the spelling of a student's name, please reach out to the student. Once you have invited them to join Clinician Nexus, they have the ability to edit the spelling of their name. Click here for student guidance on how to update such account information. 

If you need to update a student's email address, please reach out to Clinician Nexus support by clicking the chat icon in the bottom right corner of your screen.

Remove students

After students have been removed, they will no longer be immediately visible on your Students page. You will no longer have the ability to schedule removed students for rotations. Any rotations they completed while affiliated with your school in Clinician Nexus will still be visible by clicking Archived or All on the Rotations dashboard.

To remove a student from your school in Clinician Nexus:

  • Click Students from your left dashboard menu.
  • Click the Select button next to each student that you would like to remove. 
  • Click Bulk edit x/y. 
  • In the Bulk edit window, click the toggle next to Remove from school.
  • Click Update.

View removed or graduated students

After students have been removed from a school or have graduated (based on the graduation date entered into Clinician Nexus), they will no longer be immediately visible on your Students page. 

To view graduated students:

  • Click Students from the left dashboard menu.
  • Click the graduation filter in the top right corner of your screen.
  • From the drop down, you can select to view students who have Not graduated, Graduated, or Any graduation status

To view removed students:

  • Click Students from the left dashboard menu
  • Click Archived to view all inactive students (students who have been removed)
  • Click All to view active and inactive students.
