We are committed to providing our community with a smooth and secure experience! In doing so, Clinician Nexus will no longer be supported on Internet Explorer 11 (IE11) beginning May 15, 2020. This means that users will only be able to access our platform using a modern browser and not when using IE11.

Our concern is that IE11 was released over seven years ago and is no longer being maintained by Microsoft. We believe it's in the best interest of our community to support browsers that will keep information safe and our platform working effectively.

Concerns regarding IE11 include:

  • It is not as secure as modern browsers which get regular updates.

  • IE11 only receives absolutely necessary security updates, as opposed to the robust security updates that modern browsers offer to keep your information safe.

  • IE11 is missing many features that modern browsers offer.

  • Webpages in IE11 don't always render correctly, which results in some Clinician Nexus features being unusable for people using IE11.

  • Fixing software problems in IE11 is extremely time consuming and we would rather put that time and effort into building new, useful features for our clients.

  • IE11 operates more slowly than most modern browsers. This means it takes people longer to accomplish tasks in Clinician Nexus when using IE11, which ultimately slows down your productivity.

Frequently asked questions:

What browsers can I use instead of IE11?

Clinician Nexus can be used successfully on any of these on these modern browsers:

How do I begin using a new browser?

  • If you are unable to install a new browser yourself, please reach out to your IT Department to learn what steps to take.

What should I do if my IT department requires me to use IE11?
