1. First, login to your lender admin profile.

2. Next, in the bottom right corner of the lender admin dashboard is a Dollar sign.

3. Click the Dollar Sign and the wire instruction Search tool will open.

4. Next, enter the Routing and Account Number of the wire instructions you are looking to verify and click Search.

If Closepin contains a matching set of verified wire instructions, you will get a Match Found with more details and a link where you can view the wire instructions Closepin has on file to compare with the wire instructions you've received via email from the closing agent.

If you have entered a Routing # and Account # in the wire instructions search tool, and the result is No Match Found, it can mean a few things:

  1. You typed in one of the numbers incorrectly. Try retyping the numbers and searching again.

  2. The closing agent has not uploaded their wire instructions to the "Manage My Banking Accounts" tab in their portal.

  3. The account information is fraudulent.

Call the closing agent using the phone number listed in the agent's Closepin profile and ask about the account information you're searching for. If the agent confirms #2 above, ask them to log in to Closepin and upload their wire instructions to "Manage My Banking Accounts" (instructions here, if you want to provide them the link). If they need our help, they can email support@closepin.com.

If the agent confirms #3 above, alert the proper authorities.
