What happens if I cancel an assignment with a dental professional?

When you need to cancel an assignment with a dental professional, this can be done through the Bookings tab. Depending on the timing and circumstances of the cancellation, you may be subject to a cancellation fee:

  • If an assignment is booked, confirmed, and then canceled all within the same business day, there is no penalty applied.

  • For cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice, a small fee may be charged to the office and then passed on to the professional as compensation.

  • In situations where the professional is already on their way to your location or if they are turned away upon arrival, they are entitled to receive payment for half of the hours that were booked for the day, up to a maximum of 4 hours.
