Getting started with your workspace settings

When you first log into Cloudbrand dashboard, you'll find all your workspace settings in the sidebar of your dashboard. These settings help you create a professional, branded experience for your clients. At the top of your CloudBrand sidebar, you'll find three key settings:

Branding settings

Located at: "Branding" in the sidebar. Here's where you make Cloudbrand feel like your own:

  • Workspace name: Set your agency's name

  • Logo: Upload your agency logo (tip: square logos work best!)

  • Favicon: Add your favicon for browser recognition

  • Accent color: Choose your brand color, which will be used for:

    • Buttons

    • Navigation elements

    • Overall workspace accents

  • Contact link: Add your website URL where clients can learn more about your agency (this link appears in strategic places throughout your workspace)

2. Custom domain setup

Located at: "Domain" in the sidebar. Make your Cloudbrand workspace look completely professional with your own domain:

  • Click "Add Domain" in the domain section

  • In the popup, enter your domain or subdomain (example: files.youragency.com)

  • Follow the provided DNS setup instructions

  • Once DNS is configured, your custom domain and email will automatically connect to Cloudbrand

  • You're all set! Your workspace now uses your professional domain

Team management

Located at: "Team" in the sidebar. Build and manage your team:

  • Add team members by inviting them to your workspace

  • Create custom roles with specific permissions

  • Manage access levels for different team members

Pro tips for setup

For branding:

  1. Choose a square logo for best display across all areas

  2. Pick an accent color that matches your brand guidelines

  3. Make sure your contact link leads to your most relevant page

For domain setup:

  • Using a subdomain like 'files.youragency.com' often works best

  • Keep the DNS instructions handy until verification is complete

  • Test your custom domain after setup

For team management:

  • Start with essential team members first

  • Create roles based on common responsibilities

  • Review permissions periodically

Next steps

After setting up these basics:

  1. Try sharing a test file to see your branding in action

  2. Invite a team member to test permissions

  3. Send yourself a test share link to see how it looks with your custom domain
