CloudSee Drive Advanced Filters lets you narrow your S3 search results using structured criteria — file name, project, category, description, modified date, file size, and AWS tags. Instead of scrolling through buckets or relying on a single search term, you can combine multiple filters to find exactly the files you need.
This guide walks you through how to access Advanced Filters, set filter criteria, apply your search, review the results, and clear your filters when you're done.
Sign In to CloudSee Drive
Access CloudSee Drive: Open your browser and navigate to CloudSee Drive.
Sign In: Enter your credentials and select the Sign In button to access your CloudSee Drive dashboard.
Open Advanced Filters
Select Your Bucket: From the CloudSee Drive dashboard, select the bucket you want to search.
Access Advanced Filters: Select Advanced Search, then choose Advanced Filters to open the filter panel.
Set Your Filter Criteria
The Advanced Filters panel lets you build your search by combining one or more of the following criteria:
File Name — match by full or partial file name
Project (CloudSee metadata)
Category (CloudSee metadata)
Description (CloudSee metadata)
Last Modified Date — filter by a single date or a date range
File Size — filter by minimum, maximum, or a size range
AWS Tags — filter by tag key and/or value
Choose a Filter Field: Select a field from the Advanced Filters panel to add it to your search.
Enter Your Criteria: For each field you add, enter the value or range you want to match.
Combine Multiple Filters: Add additional fields to refine your search further. All active filters apply together, so your results match every criterion you set.
Remove a Filter: To drop a filter from your search, clear its value or select the remove icon next to the field.
Apply Your Search
Execute Your Search: Select the Apply Filters button to run your filter search.
Review the Results: CloudSee Drive displays all files matching your selected filter criteria.
Adjust or Clear Your Filters
Refine Your Search: Update any filter value to instantly narrow or expand your results.
Clear All Filters: Select X to Clear (or Reset) to remove all active filters and return to your full bucket view.
Exit Advanced Filters
Close Advanced Filters: When finished, navigate to another section of CloudSee Drive or start a new search.
