Sending a message to an individual

Send a bespoke email or SMS directly from a member’s profile.

With ClubRight, it's easy to send a bespoke message to an individual member, or the same message to multiple members.

Why Use This Feature?

Sending an individual message is ideal when you want to:

  • Personally follow up with a specific member

  • Send reminders, updates or check-ins

  • Communicate one-to-one without needing to leave the member’s profile

Messages are stored and tracked within each member’s Comms Hub.


How to Set Up

1. Go to the member’s profile

Open the Comms Hub tab and click the Send Message button.

2. Choose your message type

Select whether you want to send an email or SMS.

3. Write your message

  • Email

    • Add a subject line

    • Customise the message using formatting tools

    • You’ll be prompted to restrict the email to members who have given the correct consent

  • SMS

    • Type your message using plain text only

    • SMS has a 160-character limit per message — anything over that will be sent as multiple parts

Want to schedule your message for later?

If you'd prefer to write your message now and send it at a later date and time, you can use the schedule message option instead of sending it immediately.

This is useful if you want to:

  • Pre-plan communications while you're away from the system

  • Time your messages to go out during specific events or campaigns

  • Avoid sending messages during anti-social hours

Once your message is complete, click Send and it will be delivered straight to the member.


What Happens Next

  • Replies
    If the member replies, the message will appear in your Message Centre. New replies are shown in green. Click to open and hit Reply to respond.

  • Message History
    All sent messages are saved under the Comms Hub section of that member’s profile.
