How to Set Up and Run a Successful Voucher Campaign Through Co-Kinetic

Firstly, Why Run a Voucher Campaign?

Running a voucher campaign is a great way to:

  • Boost revenue by encouraging pre-payments eg. cashflow.

  • Attract new clients (vouchers make excellent gifts!).

  • Introduce a new therapist to your clinic with a special voucher offer, helping them build their client base and generate income from day one.

  • Create excitement for seasonal offers or special deals.

Follow This Process Step by Step:

Step 1: Set Up Your Branding

This will set the look and feel of your shop, the purchase email your customer receives and the branding and details featuring on the vouchers.


Step 2: Connect Your Social Networks (if you haven’t already)

This will enable you to send the voucher promotion posts to your social networks through our inbuilt social media scheduling tool.


Step 3: Create/Connect Your Stripe Account to Co-Kinetic

If you don’t already have a Stripe account, you’ll need to set one up to handle voucher payments. Stripe is one of the most established and well-trusted internet payment processors available. A major benefit is that there is no monthly subscription, you simply pay a standard percentage on each transaction. You can learn more here

  1. If you don’t have a Stripe account, you can set one up here stripe.com. If you already have a Stripe account, keep reading.

  2. Create a new Live API Key here https://dashboard.stripe.com/apikeys - you can call it Co-Kinetic if you want to (if you want more info about API keys you can find that here: Stripe API Key Setup).

  3. Go to Profile > Integrations in Co-Kinetic and enter your Stripe API key.

If there is already a key in the Co-Kinetic Integrations area don’t worry, this will most likely be because you used our voucher system in the old Co-Kinetic site, and that key was stored. It’s worth double checking it still works (or create a new one just to be safe).


Step 4: Choose a Voucher Campaign

  1. On the main Content page, use the Content Type dropdown filter and select Voucher Campaigns (or click this link).

  2. Browse through the available campaigns, pick your campaign and then preview the blank voucher templates included in that campaign (you will need to select this voucher template when you create your voucher product in the Shop area).

  3. Decide which voucher template best suits the offer you want to sell and note the name of it.

  4. We’ve also provided some template images you can use as your ‘product’ image in a Zip file called Product Images under each voucher campaign, download that zip file to your computer. If you have your own image you want to use, that’s fine too. We just wanted to help make the process even quicker, and life a bit easier :)

  5. You'll also find the link to the Voucher Copy Generator CustomGPT in the Media Contents panel on this page, so it's a good idea to keep this tab open while you proceed to the next step in a new tab.


Step 5: Set Up Your Voucher in the Shop

  1. In a new browser tab, click on the word Shop in the left-hand menu, then click on Products and create a new Voucher product.
    To make things easier, we've created:

    1. A trained Voucher Copy Generator CustomGPT to help you create the copy for the voucher. You can find the link in the Media Contents box of each campaign.

    2. We've provided some images which are square versions of the social media posts, some of which could be used Voucher Product Images (these can be downloaded as a zip file from the Media Contents box). Alternatively, you can create your own in tools like Canva or event ChatGPT.

  2. Select the voucher template you previewed and chose earlier, from the dropdown menu.

  3. Fill in the product details:

    1. Voucher title, description, cost, value (optional), availability start and end dates (that’s the period in which the voucher can be bought (also optional)), expiry date (you don’t need to set this if you don’t want to, but that’s the date the voucher will cease to be redeemable), quantity available (if you want to limit the number of vouchers purchasable, but again you don’t have to limit this) and simple redemption details.

    2. You don’t need to add a payment link—our system will automatically create this product for you in Stripe.

  4. Save your voucher product.

TIP: If it’s the first time you’ve set up a product, we recommend setting a nominal cost of £1 and test the process (you can also refund that £1 through Stripe if you’re feeling hard up!).

Just remember to adjust the cost of the product to your real cost, before promoting to your customers, otherwise they’ll be getting very cheap vouchers!


Step 6: You’re Ready to Promote and Sell

  1. Go back to the Voucher Campaign under the Content area.

  2. Use the pre-loaded social media posts under the Social tab (if you haven’t set up a social media campaign before you can learn how to do that here.

  3. When editing the posts in the social media scheduler:

    • Choose the new Promote a Product/Purchase Call-to-Action (CTA).

    • Select the specific voucher product that you want to link to.

    • The AI will rewrite the post to match your chosen voucher, based on the product description and title.

    • Then Click Adapt for Networks and the AI will rewrite the post to fit each specific network.


Step 7: Use the Other Resources to Maximise Success

  • Posters and Printables: You have an A4 poster with the usual branding which you can Share or Print on your office/home print.
    Or you can use the Canva template to add your logo and contact details in the space we’ve provided and order professional prints directly from Canva, wherever you are based in the World. Just click the Print With Canva button to see more options (it’s very cool!). You’ll find both of these in the Media Contents box on the right hand side of the screen (or under this text depending on your device).

  • Email List: If you’ve been nurturing your email list with value-led educational (ie. non-promotional) content, you’ll get better results when promoting your voucher campaign. Send an email introducing the voucher and linking directly to it.

  • Tips for Success:

    • Run the campaign consistently across all platforms.

    • Use the voucher’s urgency (e.g., limited availability or time-sensitive offers) to drive action.

    • Promote the campaign in your clinic using posters or verbal recommendations.
