With GP

Your prescription request is with your GP.

GPs need to check all requests for medication. They are usually checked within 2 working days, but it might be a bit longer depending on how busy your GP is. To be certain where it’s up to, you should contact your GP surgery.

Your GP has reviewed your request for medication, but we are unable to process it. Contact your GP surgery to find out why.


Your prescription request has been approved by your GP. Where your order is up to, depends how you’ve chosen to receive your prescription.

You’ve chosen home delivery

Your order is being prepared by Co-op Health and is being delivered by Royal Mail 48 hour - this usually takes 2-4 days. If it’s been longer than that, we might be waiting to get more stock in. We’ll have sent you an email if that’s the case - if you’ve not got it, check your junk or spam folder.

You’ve chosen to collect from a pharmacy

Your GP has approved your request and it’s been sent to your chosen pharmacy.

It can take up to 5 days to prepare but will depend on the pharmacy you have chosen.

To check when it’s ready, contact the pharmacy direct.

Part Approved

Your GP has approved part of your request for medication. To find out when your medication is ready to collect, contact the pharmacy.

Not authorised

Your GP has not authorised your request for medication. There are various reasons why this might be. You can contact your GP surgery to find out why.

Prescription processed
Your order is ready to be sent for delivery. We use Royal Mail 48 hour tracked. If we have your mobile number Royal Mail will text you when your order will arrive.

If Royal Mail have tried to deliver it and you weren’t in, they will have left you a card to explain how to rearrange delivery.

Your order has been cancelled 

Sorry, we had to cancel your order - We’ve sent you an email to explain why -  if you haven’t seen this yet, check your spam or junk folder.
