Coach Paint offers extensive customization options, allowing you to tailor each tool to your specific needs. However, with such flexibility comes the possibility of unintended changes—perhaps a key property was altered, making the tool behave strangely or lose its intended essence. If you’ve found yourself in this situation, don’t worry! Resetting a tool is quick and easy.

Why Reset a Tool?

Customizing tools is one of Coach Paint’s most powerful features. But sometimes, tweaking too much can result in a tool that no longer looks or functions as expected. By resetting the tool, you can restore it to its default values and regain its original functionality.

Step-by-step: Remove and Re-add the Tool

In order to reset the tool, follow these steps:

  1. Remove the Tool:

    • Go to your tool admin panel.

    • Drag the tool to the middle panel, in order to delete it.

  2. Re-add the Tool:

    • Select the tool type you just removed and drag it back to your panel.

    • By re-adding the tool, you’re essentially starting fresh with its default properties.

Each time you add a new tool to your panel, it comes with its default values. This ensures you always have a baseline to work with, making troubleshooting and resetting tools straightforward.

By following these steps, you can quickly restore any Coach Paint tool to its original state, letting you focus on creating and analyzing without the frustration of misbehaving tools.
