In this article, we are going to explain to you how to use the new Multi-Angle Telestration feature. Please see the video below to understand how it works ๐Ÿค“

Additionally here is a step-by-step guide to guide you through it:

  1. Import the clips in which you want to use the Multi-Angle Telestration feature.
    โ€‹

  2. Calibrate the pitch in such clips and take a brief look at the calibrations and make sure that they are fine, as this is a key part of the process (the less accurate the calibration, the less accurate the results will be).
โ€‹Note: If autocalibration is enabled, check that the pitch is correctly calibrated in all clips.
    โ€‹

  3. Right-click one of the clips and select "Sync clip".
    โ€‹

This would open a new menu with the clip's preview:
    โ€‹

  4. Click on "Add Angle".
    โ€‹

Now select the clips that you want to sync together. You will see that a red mark appears on the ones that you can select (only calibrated clips will have the red mark).
    โ€‹

  5. Once selected, the clip's preview will appear above the existing one at the left-placed column.
    โ€‹

Now you have to sync a specific frame between the clips in your group. To do that, find a frame in which a specific action is shown in all the clips. In this example, I'm choosing the kickoff, and you can see that in both images the frame selected is exactly the one where the player is kicking the ball.

Once you have identified the frame (kickoff in this example) in one clip, click on the "Sync" button in the bottom left corner of the preview.
    โ€‹

Once youโ€™ve done that, you will need to do the same process in the other clips of your group(select clip, scroll to the kickoff frame, and click on the Sync button).

  6. Once you have selected the clips that you want to sync and you have synced a specific frame, select "Ok".

  7. Now, if you place any 3D drawing on one of the clips you should see the same drawing applied to all the other clips in your group. Just like this:
    โ€‹

    โ€‹

Please remember that it is necessary to save and requeue the clip to have the drawing saved in the other synced clips.

Please note: only 3D drawings can be used in this multi angle-feature. If you are not sure which tools support 3D graphics, you can check the "Coach Paint tools and features" help article.
