If you were trying to increase the Coach Paint Memory File Size in the Config editor, you might have found this pop-up error message:

This message is trying to explain that you have exceeded the maximum of your memory storage.

To fix this situation please follow these steps:

1. Open the Config Editor

2. Search for the "Video" tab

3. Change the value that it's in the "Video File Size" box. This option is the storage you want Coach Paint to use from your remaining space.

The fixed value on the right is the maximum space that you have on your computer, so probably you have exceeded that value previously.

If you are working with short clips (and not a lot of them) we'd recommend applying 50-100 GB of storage. Of course, you can always come back and increase that value, if needed.

Note: if you want to learn more about how Coach Paint storage file works, please read What is the "video.dat" or "clips.dat" file?

Let's see some examples

Well configurated:

You can see that the Video File Size is smaller than the Max Size.

Wrong Configurated:

In this other example, the Video File Size (300GB) is bigger than the Max Size (275 GB), so we will face the mentioned error.

What happens if my Max Size is lower than 50GB?

We suggest making some space on your computer so you have enough space to work with in Coach Paint.
