You might know that the "video.dat" file requires a fair amount of available storage in this article I'm going to explain to you how to change its location to an external drive.
Before we start, ensure you know what the "Video.dat" file is for; please read the following article that explains it in detail.
Please follow the next steps:
First, you need to locate the "Video.dat" file on your machine. In order to find it, look for the "video file name" row in the "Video" tab in the config editor
2. Follow the specified path and find the file on your computer:
3. Now you need to delete the file. Take into account that once the file is deleted, all your work will be lost, so make a backup of your work before deleting it.
4. Once the file is deleted, now you are able to change the "Video File Name". Click on the three dots and change the file location to the external drive:
5. Press save and "OK".
