The song deep-dive is the best place for granular sound data, and sound-specific UGC, recommended creators, and more.
Dashboard Metrics
The Song Analytics dashboard combines Spotify streams, social platform creates and other engagement metrics, including campaign performance data when applicable.
To customize your dashboard, click Edit Metrics to browse and configure. As you will see in Edit Metrics, available metrics are organized by platform with the option to search across. Under the Cobrand metrics section, you can add organic and paid social engagements, which will populate automatically when any sounds tracked in the song are featured in a campaign with live posts. Tip: if you want to graph out social dimensions for the Artist's official account specifically, search "Artist" in the Edit Metrics button and select.
You can add custom events to your graph via Add Chart Event. These can represent a tour event, a song release, paid engagement, or other. Cobrand automatically adds top fan posts to the timeline.
For additional data series, click the By Performance drop down, for either Sound or Country performance. We narrow down to the top 8 tiles for each by default, but you can see the longer list if you click Edit Metrics. When filtering on Country, you can chart Views, Shares, Likes, Creates or Comments. To view these metrics in table format, scroll to the bottom of this page for a summary.
At this time, Spotify streams and sounds are only available as global aggregate metrics, and cannot be broken down by country.
Impactful Posts
This section curates the most impactful posts using any of the featured sounds. The list is refreshed at least once a day, with up to 500 new posts per sound. You can use filters to narrow down your search.
To view the post itself, click into the Thumbnail. From here, you can also check out the Creator Profile, and save them for future outreach, or add them directly to a promotion shortlist. Note: the country field is based on where the Creator is located. Audience details can be found by clicking "Unlock Audience Insights" in the Creator profile.
Grid view is best to gauge content and style of posts, but it can also be helpful to flip to List for a data-focused view. In either view, you can sort descending on a number of dimensions including data posted, likes and views.
Suggested Creators and Communities
This section summarizes creators who post the most content for the sounds you are tracking. Naturally this will include official accounts, but will also surface fans and unaffiliated creators, so is a great source for collaboration discovery.
When searching for creator partners, it may be useful to enable the Has Email filter at the top. It may also be useful to switch to List view, if you wish to sort by a specific metric, and then layer on filters for followers, country, or otherwise. By default, the creators are ordered descending by number of posts using any of the sounds you are tracking in this song.
If you click the Creator thumbnail you can view the videos they posted using these sounds under Segment Videos. You can also see the rest of their profile details. If this is a profile you wish to save, simply click Save in the top right, optionally add in Tags and Notes, or drop directly into a live promotion.
Beneath creators, Suggested Communities highlights hashtags associated with trending posts using your tracked sounds. We suggest incorporating these search terms into your artist intelligence groupings in Segments to ensure that relevant content which may not be using tracked sounds is ingested into your database of content.
