Guide to Pre-Sale and Multi-Link template

Updated over 2 weeks ago

This article covers how to set up the event links for pre-sale through to live ticket sales.

Set up

This template is designed for single events or multi-city schedules. It can accommodate pre-sale list, live links, and waitlist in a one URL.

Once you fill in the required fields, click Edit on the first link. Tip: to save time on multi-city tours, fill out the first link and then Duplicate for additional events.

Once in the Edit view, you will see Active Now is selected under Button Behaviour by default. If your tickets are already available for sale, leave this as it is. Simply add in your event details, including URL, and configure the button text.

If your event is in the future and you want to collect pre-sale sign-ups, switch to Active Later. With Active Later, the preview shows what the fan will see during the pre-sale phase, which is always "Sign Up". The Button Text determines what will show up at the specified go-live date and time. For example, "Get Tickets".

If during the sale period your event sells out, you can manually change the status of the link to Sold Out. This will change the button back into a Sign Up so the fan can join the waitlist.

The setting at the bottom of the modal controls whether this event is visible in the Drop yet. This can be helpful if you wish to announce tour dates gradually while setting up everything in advance.

Each link has a unique post-sign up message to customize the response for each event. You can also set additional message for each link, under Scheduled Messages. Typically, these will be used as a reminder before tickets are available and can include a pre-sale link and access codes if applicable.

Beneath the event links, there is a Universal Signup prompt. This will not include a link and it will behave like a General Signup template.
