This article covers how to set up the event links for pre-sale through to live ticket sales.
Set Up
This template is designed for single events or multi-city schedules. It can accommodate pre-sale list, live links, and waitlist in a one URL.
We'll automate create 3 links for you, click on the Edit button on the right hand side of the pre-generated links to customize your event.
You'll first be prompted to add your Event Details. Generally we see users enter the city as the Event Title and venue as the Event Description. But it's completely customizable and up to you. You'll need to enter in an date for your event as well. And then finally, you'll be able to customize the Sign Up Button Label, it'll automatically be set to Sign Up.
Then you'll want to set your Event type & link behavior, we have four different types:
Pre-Sale
Best used for when you're interested in just collecting sign ups from interested fans, and you don't want it to turn into a sign up link. You'll have to create a Post sign up message that fans will receive when they sign up. You can either use this as a way to automatically give fans a pre-sale access code. Or you can schedule a message at a later date for when the pre-sale code goes live using the Scheduled pre-sale access code message.
Dynamic Pre-Sale
If you want to collect interested fan data until the tickets go on sale. Then at the date and time that you specify the Sign Up will turn into a Ticket Link. Please note, we do not collect fan data once it moves over to a ticket link as we do not want to gate fans from buying tickets. You will need to create a Post Sign Up Message just like if you had created a Pre-Sale link.
Ticket Purchase
If you want to create an easy webpage for the artist/brand to post in their bio across multiple shows you can use the ticket purchase link to create an all in one link with multiple shows. Please note, we do not collect fan data for Ticket Purchases links as we do not want to gate fans from buying tickets.
Sold Out
When your show sells out you can change your link to Sold Out. We will begin collecting Fan Data again and you can reach out to these fans if more tickets become available or to gauge interest for further shows in a market. You will have to set up a Post Sign Up Message to send to fans after they sign up.
General Sign Up
You can customize what you'd like the last pill at the bottom of your drop to be. It'll automatically be set to want to set to: "Want to stay in the loop?" but you can change this to fit the tone of the artist.
The General Sign Up - Post Sign Up Message will be sent to any fans that sign up using that Sign Up button and don't sign up for a specific event.
Quick Tips
Instead of creating a specific event from scratch each time, click on the duplicate button directly to the right of the Edit button. This will create a Copy of the event that you duplicated and it's much easier to edit then start from scratch!
Use the blue toggle on the left-hand side of the event if you want to hide any events.
