Cobrand will always provide your artist a unique phone number for all fan communications. In addition, Cobrand can set you up with an independent carrier account if you like. This is optional but we recommend doing so because it will allow you to have your own dedicated rate-limit pool. We strongly recommend doing this if you plan to send over 2,000 simultaneous messages in the US or Canadian markets, in particular.
Registering with carriers is also mandatory if you wish to send WhatsApp Messages to fans, or, if you wish to set up a region-specific phone numbers.

How to register with carriers
Registration should only take a few minutes to submit, but up to 4 weeks to get approved. So, we recommend doing this as soon as possible!
When completing the business information fields, ensure that you fill this out from the perspective of your business and not the artist. This means using your company's website, name and registration number relevant to the country where it is incorporated. The details you enter here will not impact the artist branding for your drop in any way, and no fans will perceive your business details during their sign-up and messaging experience.
After you submit these details, this screen will indicate that registration is in progress. We will notify you when it is complete. If there are issues with your registration we will contact you directly.
If you wish to run drops and fan messaging while approval is pending, you are welcome to do so. Once the approval is complete, we will simply move your number over. But - keep in mind, the above restrictions around UK messaging will still apply.
