A quick guide to what's included in your app, and how features can vary by property plan.

What's included in my community app?

Not every community has the exact same experience in the app, and that's by design. Depending on which plan your property has, you'll see some or all of these features:


​Always included:

  • Feed - see what's happening in your building, post updates, ask questions, share recommendations.

  • Marketplace - your classified section just for your apartment building. Sell or give away items and find great deals.

  • Events - RSVP to gatherings, ask questions, leave comments and provide feedback.

  • Notifications - Quickly see all the latest updates.

Included on Cobu and select Community powered by Cobu plans:

  • Groups - join or start groups based on shared interests.

  • Resident gatherings - create your own gatherings for neighbors to join

  • Direct Messaging - message other residents privately

If you don't see Groups, the ability to create gatherings, or Direct Messaging in your app, your property is likely on a plan that doesn't include them. You can reach out to us anytime via Chat with Cobu and we're happy to help and answer any questions.
