Setting Up Course Self Enrollment

Learn how to set up a self-enrollment option for students.

Purpose

This article describes the steps to setup Self-enrollment in a course.

Note

You must have the appropriate permissions to set a course for self-enrollment.

Procedure

1. With Edit mode on, click on Participants

2. Click the dropdown menu which defaults to Enrolled users and select Enrollment methods

3. In the Add method dropdown box located at the bottom of the page, select Self-enrollment

4. Add an enrollment key if desired.

5. Click the Add method button at the bottom of the page

6. Copy the link to the course and provide it to learners. If you set an enrollment key, the enrollment page will look like this for your participants:
