The purpose of this article is to provide step-by-step instructions for automatically dropping the lowest grade in a specific category

2. Use the dropdown menu which defaults to Grader report to select Gradebook setup

3. Locate the category where you want to drop the lowest grade. Below, the category is Quizzes

4. Click Edit in the Actions column across from the category name and select Edit settings

5. Click Show more….

6. In the box by Drop the lowest, enter the number of lowest quiz scores you want dropped. Below, the lowest 2 quiz scores are set to be dropped

7. Save your changes

8. Your change will display in Gradebook setup

9. Below is the student grade view showing the lowest two quiz grades as dropped
