Purpose
The purpose of this article is to provide step-by-step instructions for creating a multiple choice quiz.
Procedure
Turn on Edit mode.
Click the + sign in the section where you want the quiz, then click Activity or resource.
Choose the quiz tile.
Name the quiz, add instructions in the description box (optional), and check Display description on course page (optional).
In the Timing section, choose whether to set a time limit or not.
In the Grade section, set the category, and number of attempts allowed, and the grading method.
Decide how many questions you want on each page. Just one is recommended in case there is a power outage.
Decide if you want to stick with the default question behavior settings.
Set any other criteria you desire.
Save your changes.
Click the link to your newly created quiz.
Click Add a question.
Click Add and decide whether you will pull questions from the question bank or create them on the spot. In this case, choose from question bank.
Click the box next to existing questions. Note you would have already had to have created the questions in your bank. The symbol showing three dots and three lines next to the checked boxes indicates these are multiple choice questions.
Click Add selected questions to the quiz.
Click Quiz to test the quiz.

This is how it will appear on the course page.
If you want more than one correct answer for a question, edit your questions in the question bank. From the course page, click the three dots (displayed in Edit mode) across from your quiz.
Click the Question bank tab and then click the pen next to the question you want to edit.
Scroll down and choose Multiple answers allowed and then adjust the Grade. In the case of two correct answers, the Grade will be 50% for each instead of 100% for one.
Save your changes.
