Creating a Choice Activity

Learn how to let your students vote on topics using a Choice activity

Purpose

The purpose of this article is to provide step-by-step instructions for creating a Choice activity in a Moodle course

Procedure

  1. Turn Edit mode on

    Button labeled Edit mode

  2. Add an activity

    Link labeled Add an activity or resource

  3. Select the Choice mini tile

  4. Name the activity, type the question in the description box, and click the Display description on course page box (optional)

  5. Choose how you want the options displayed

  6. Decide if students should be able to change their answer or make more than one choice

  7. Fill in the response choices

  8. Set other activity criteria as you normally would

  9. Save your changes

  10. The activity will display on your course page

  13. Click the Responses tab to see student choices
