Image Choice Using H5P

Learn how to provide a series of image choices with one correct answer

Purpose

The purpose of this article is to provide step-by-step instructions for creating an H5P Image Choice activity in a Moodle course

Procedures

  1. Make sure editing is on

    Toggle switch labeled Edit mode

  2. Click the More tab

  3. Choose Content bank

  4. Click the Add button and scroll down to click Image Choice

  5. Give your activity a name and fill in the question box

  6. To add an image, find an image on the Internet and click on it to open it up

  7. Right click on the expanded image – this should be a PNG file

  8. Save it in the PNG format

  9. Click the Add button

  10. Add the PNG image file including Alt text

  11. Save your changes

  12. Your question will appear in the Content bank

  13. Click the Course tab

  14. Click Add an activity in the correct section

  15. Click the H5P mini tile

  16. Name the activity, type instructions in the description box (optional), and check the box beside Display description on course page (optional)

  17. Add your file by clicking the black file icon

  18. Make sure you are in the Content bank in the File picker and click the content you just created

  19. Click the Select this file button

  20. The file will appear

  21. Set additional criteria as you normally would

  22. Save your changes

  23. The activity will appear on your course page

  24. The student will get immediate feedback after selecting the correct choice
