Image Choice Using H5P

Learn how to provide a series of image choices with one correct answer

Purpose

The purpose of this article is to provide step-by-step instructions for creating an H5P Image Choice activity in a Moodle course.

Procedures

  1. Make sure editing is on

  2. Click the More tab.

  3. Choose Content bank.

  4. Click the Add button and scroll down to click Image Choice.

  5. Give your activity a name and fill in the question box.

  6. To add an image, find an image on the Internet and click on it to open it up.

  7. Right click on the expanded image – this should be a PNG file.

  8. Save it in the PNG format.

  9. Click the Add button.

  10. Add the PNG image file including Alt text.

  11. Save your changes.

  12. Your question will appear in the Content bank.

  13. Click the Course tab.

  14. Click Add an activity in the correct section.

  15. Click the H5P mini tile.

  16. Name the activity, type instructions in the description box (optional), and check the box beside Display description on course page (optional).

  17. Add your file by clicking the black file icon.

  18. Make sure you are in the Content bank in the File picker and click the content you just created.

  19. Click the Select this file button.

  20. The file will appear.

  21. Set additional criteria as you normally would.

  22. Save your changes.

  23. The activity will appear on your course page.

  24. The student will get immediate feedback after selecting the correct choice.
