Sharing Panopto Videos

This article describes the different options for sharing a Panopto video with other classmates.

Option 1:

If you are storing the video in your MY Folder, update the sharing permissions so other students at Cochise College can view it.

Click on the sharing icon:

This icon can be found by hovering over the video thumbnail or in the top-right corner when viewing the video.

Under “Who can access this video,” select “Change.”

Select “Your Organization (unlisted).”

After selecting Change on the sharing screen, Who can access this video displayed with Your Organization (unlisted) selected.

Option 2:

If you store the video in the course folder, you do not need to update the sharing permission.

After recording the video, select your course's assignments folder in the screen immediately after recording

OR, if you are uploading a video to Panopto, make sure to upload it to the course folder.
