Directed Self Placements (DSPs)
​All students are recommended to complete the Directed Self Placements before registering for any courses. DSPs are available for Reading, English, and Mathematics. Please visit the Directed Self Placement page for more information.

Distance learners living outside of Cochise County may have their exams proctored at a remote ACCUPLACER testing location or use a virtual proctor and webcam. To request remote testing or a virtual proctor, go to the top of the page under 'Schedule an Off-Site Appointment' and click the Off-Site Placement Test Request link above. Questions about off-site placement testing may be directed to testingdc@cochise.edu or (520) 439-6825.
