Assignment: Resubmit (Student Instructions)

Learn how to resubmit an assignment.

Purpose

The purpose of this article is to demonstrate how to resubmit an assignment prior to grading.

Procedure

How to Resubmit Assignment Materials (Student Instructions)

Follow the steps below if your instructor has reset your assignment so that you can delete previously submitted materials or add additional materials and resubmit.

  1. From your course, click on the assignment you want to resubmit. If your assignment does not say Reopened, please reach out to your instructor.

  2. If you need to add another file but still keep the original file, click on Add a new attempt based on previous submission button and follow the prompts to upload another file. It is the same process as when you originally submitted the assignment.

  3. Click the file icon which has a + sign, select the file from your computer.

  4. The file will appear next to the Choose file button. Click the Upload this file button.

  5. Save your changes and click the Submit assignment and Continue buttons. You will see a submission status screen with green bands.

  6. If you want to remove your previous submission, choose the Remove submission button.

  7. Click Continue to confirm that you wish to delete the file.

  8. Click the Add a new attempt button and follow the previous steps for adding a file.

  9. Save and submit.
