Purpose
This article outlines the process of adding the Panopto Block and/or External Tool to a course.
Procedure
Are you starting to work on your courses for next semester? Do you plan on using Panopto? Here are a few things to remember...
Request your course copy if you plan on using the content (including your Panopto videos) from a prior semester.
If you are building your course from scratch, or planning to use Panopto for the first time, add the Panopto External Tool and Panopto Block to your course.
How to Add Panopto External Tool:
Toggle Edit Mode On
Select + Add an activity or resource
Select Panopto
Give the new tool a name
Do not select content.
Change the grade type to "None"
Change the activity completion tracking to "Do not indicate..."
Click Save and return to course

Select + Add a block
Select Panopto
Verify that the block was added to the right side of the course
If needed, click on the link to provision the course
