Google Slides: Embed in Moodle

Learn how to embed Google Slides into a Moodle Page Resource

Purpose

The purpose of this article is to demonstrate how to embed a Google Slides presentation in Moodle

Procedures

Grab the embed code from your Google slides.

  1. From Google Slides, choose File > Share > Publish to Web

  2. Select the Embed Tab

  3. Choose the options such as Slide size, Auto-advance slides, etc.

  4. Click on Publish

  5. Copy code (ctrl + c or right-click on code and choose copy)

To embed Google slides into a page

  1. Toggle Edit mode to On

  2. Select + Add an activity or resource

  3. Click on Page

  4. Type the Name of the page

  5. Under Page content, in the text editor, click on the HTML button

  6. Paste the code into the box

  7. Click on the HTML button again and make sure your slides are showing in the box

  8. Select any other settings you want on the settings page, such as Activity completion

  9. Click on Save and return to course or Save and display
