Self Enrollment

Enroll yourself in a Moodle course.

Purpose

This article demonstrates how to join a course that is set up for self-enrollment.

Procedure

  1. Obtain the course name and enrollment key. (Some courses do not require an enrollment key).

  2. Go to the Moodle home page.

  3. Type the course name in the Course search box on the right side of your screen.

  4. Click the Search button.

  5. More than one course may appear. Click on the correct course.

  6. If there is an enrollment key, type it in the empty box.

  7. Click the Enroll me button.

  8. The course will appear.

  9. The course owner determines your role (student, observer, etc.) and how long you will have access. In this course, no end date is enabled.

  10. Contact the LMS (Moodle) Support Team if you have problems enrolling in a self-enroll course.
