Activity Completion Override

Learn how to mark or unmark a student’s “completed” status for a Moodle activity

Purpose

The purpose of this article is to demonstrate how to adjust the a student's activity completion status

Note

This information is useful if you have a completion condition set up and you need to mark something as complete on the student’s behalf. For example, if a student was required to upload a paper but had to email it instead.

Procedure

Access the Activity Completion Page

  1. On your course page, click the Reports Link below the course banner

  2. Click on Activity completion.

Modify Activity Completion Page

  1. Click on the desired box corresponding to the student and assignment. The assignment will be marked as completed by the student. Refer to sample image below

    Activity completion page is displayed. Boxes in the Assignment 1 column are check marked next to each student's name.

  2. Click Save changes when the pop-up displays
