Purpose
This article explains how to change course activity completion requirements in bulk rather than one at a time.
Procedure
Modify Default Activity Completion Settings
Click the More link under the course banner and click the Course Completion menu option.
Click the drop-down and select Default Activity Completion.
Mark the box to the left of the Activity or Resource type that you want to modify.
Click on, Edit at the top or bottom of the page.
Select desired default activity completion settings for activities such as, Completion tracking, Require view, Require grade and Expect completed on.
Click the Save changes button when you are finished.
Edit Completion settings on existing activities
The Bulk Edit Activity Completion option in the dropdown menu allows you to make changes to existing activities in your course.
Mark the box to the left of the activity name.
Click the Edit button at the top or bottom of the page.
On the next screen, choose desired completion options for the selected activities.
Click the Save changes button when you are finished.
