Purpose
This article outlines the process of adding the Testing Center Appointment Scheduler link to your Moodle course.
Procedure
This link will give your students direct access to the Testing Center Appointment Scheduler (RegisterBlast).
In a Moodle Course
Turn Edit Mode On.
Click on the link to +Add an activity or resource.
Select the External Tool icon.
There are two links to choose from:
RegisterBlast Sierra Vista, and RegisterBlast Douglas.
Students: If you select RegisterBlast Sierra Vista, Douglas campus students can still get to the calendar for the DC Testing Center.
Instructors: If you select the Sierra Vista link, you’ll be able to use the link to submit exams to the Testing Center.
Activity name: It is recommended that you title the link “Testing Center Appointment Scheduling.”
Click on the dropdown for the Preconfigured tool and select the RegisterBlast option you desire (you can add both to your course if you prefer.).
Click Save at the bottom of the page when you are finished making your selection.
It is recommended that you choose the Sierra Vista option unless you have ALL Douglas students.
Sutdents at DC can still get to the DC Testing scheduler from the SV link.
Note: If you or your students have a pop-up blocker enabled, you’ll need to click on the link twice to open the RegisterBlast web page.
The Student Experience
Your students will see this screen when they click on the link in your course.
If you added only the Sierra Vista link to your course page, the option to switch to Douglas Campus appointments is near the top. Refer to the screenshot below.
Alternatively, you can place both the SVC and DC links in your course and title them with the appropriate campus location.
