OneDrive Repository

Learn how to get files directly from your Cochise “OneDrive” while in your Moodle course

Purpose

The purpose of this article is to demonstrate how to retrieve OneDrive content and add it to a Moodle course

Note

This is an example of the process if you want to add an image to the description field of an Assignment

  1. With editing turned on, click on Add an activity or resource and select Assignment from the activity chooser

  2. Complete the assignment name

  3. To add an image in the Description field, click on the Images icon

  4. Click on the Browse repositories button

  5. From the File picker menu, click on Microsoft OneDrive and then click on the Log in to your account button. This should log you into your OneDrive, but if it doesn’t, you’ll need to type in your Cochise College credentials

  6. You should now be able to navigate around in your OneDrive to find the file you need. Once you have located your image, click on it

  7. Click Select this file from the next screen


    Fill out "How would you describe this image to someone who can't see it?" Then select a size for the image.

  8. Click Save at the bottom of the page.

You can now add text by copying and pasting your content into the Description box or typing directly into the box.
