Objective

Configure your organization’s firewall to ensure your employees can leverage Coconut Connect for video meetings with clients.

Steps

To ensure successful usage of Connect for video appointments, addresses for our video service partners, Daily® for Coconut Connect and Twilio® for Coconut Connect Classic, and for Coconut need to be added to your organization’s firewall configuration. Please reach out to Customer Success if you are unsure if you are using Coconut Connect or Coconut Connect Classic.

Add Daily addresses

Add the addresses listed below to your organization’s firewall configuration to enable successful communication with our video service partner, Daily:

  • Reachable on TCP/443:

  • Reachable on TCP/UDP/3478 (preferred) or TCP/443

    • *.stun.twilio.com

    • turn.cloudflare.com

    • *.turn.twilio.com

    • *.xirsys.com

  • *.wss.daily.co reachable on both TCP/443 and UDP/40000-65534

Add Twilio addresses

If using Coconut Connect Classic, add the following addresses to your organization’s firewall configuration to enable successful communication with our Connect service partner, Twilio:

  • wss://global.vss.twilio.com

  • wss://au1.vss.twilio.com

  • wss://br1.vss.twilio.com

  • wss://de1.vss.twilio.com

  • wss://ie1.vss.twilio.com

  • wss://in1.vss.twilio.com

  • wss://jp1.vss.twilio.com

  • wss://sg1.vss.twilio.com

  • wss://us1.vss.twilio.com

  • wss://us2.vss.twilio.com

  • wss://sdkgw.us1.twilio.com

Add Coconut Connect addresses

Add the following addresses to your organization’s firewall configuration to enable successful communication with our Connect servers. These addresses handle such features as real-time messages, co-browsing, drawing on-screen, etc.:

A note on access and visibility

Admin users can configure Connect preferences by accessing Settings. Organizations may also require the support of their IT teams for firewall configuration updates.
