If you have a date that you know your student will need to be absent from class, you can now let us know ahead of time by reporting the upcoming absence! In the parent portal, under the Student Hub and Class Schedule navigate to the date of the upcoming absence. Once you select the class session you will see the option to Report an Absence for this session.
Once you click a modal will pop up to provide the reason for the absence, select the appropriate reason for your students absence and then click submit.
You will receive a confirmation that the reported absence has been recorded and this will not count against your students grade or gamification rewards! Your email confirmation will include details on how to make up the missed class material.
