If you know ahead of time that your student will be absent from class, we recommend you report the absence in advance.
In the Parent Portal (https://parents.codewizardshq.com/), go to the Help menu and select Report an Absence. Choose the date your student will be absent, select the reason, and click Submit.
After submitting, you will receive a confirmation along with instructions on how your student can make up the missed class. To stay on track, your student should watch the class recording and complete the class exercises and homework projects before the next class session.
Reporting an absence also ensures that your student’s gamification rewards are not affected.
