There are multiple avenues for students to get help outside the classroom, below is our list of student resources!
1. Slides/Video from Class - All lesson resources can be found under the Lessons tab, locate the missed lesson and select it in the sidebar, all information and resources regarding the lesson can be found on this page.
2. Utilize the Community Forum - A space where you can ask questions and get help from the CWHQ community of students and instructors, can be accessed under the help tab or from the top menu of the student dashboard.
3. Get additional help in, Homework Help- Live instructors are available Monday - Sunday at 4:00pm - 5:00pm CST to help students debug projects that have been attempted. One lesson permitted per session and can be accessed under the help tab.
4. Utilize Documentation- Reading and researching programming concepts is an important skill that helps ensure student success. Our documentation is built and written by our team, catered to the languages and concepts we teach in our courses. Students can explore our documentation to refresh themselves on language concepts or as a way to explore deeper into specific coding concepts. Documentation can be accessed under the help tab or from the top menu of the student dashboard.
5.How to Videos- If you need a refresher on how to submit homework, retake a quiz or create your first post on the forum. This section houses short videos that walk you through step by step!
Depending on your students course level we also offer Office Hours! Office hours are 1-on-1 appointments with an instructor for personalized help on helping fix minor errors in homework assignments. Office hours can only be scheduled by first seeking help through the Forum then scheduling an appointment for office hours, by using the Help tab in the student dashboard.
*If your student is enrolled in multiple courses be sure that you are selecting the correct course from the drop down in the navigation bar to show the appropriate help options per course.
