How to differentiate between students with the same first and last names

There can be rare occasions where you may have students in the same course with the same First and Last Name.
The best way to differentiate such students would be to ask them to both update their First Name field to include a Middle Initial (or complete Middle Name if they also have the same Middle Initial).
The students can do this in their Account settings area
