Cody: A Support Guide for Getting Started
Welcome to Cody, your AI-powered business assistant. This guide will help you get started with Cody and understand how to use the platform to get accurate information and insights.
Content
The Content Tab is the foundation of Cody's knowledge. It is where you add documents that Cody can use to answer your questions.
To add a document, you have two options: create a new document or upload an existing one (PDF, PowerPoint, or Word).
After adding a document, you can view its status in the Content Tab. A green checkmark means that Cody has learned the information successfully.
Conversations
Cody Conversations are where you interact with Cody and ask questions.
To start a conversation, select the directory that you want to talk about (e.g. human resources). Cody will use the documents in that directory to answer your questions.
Ask Cody questions related to the directory you selected. For example, "What are our employee benefits?"
Cody will use its sources to answer your questions. If you notice anything incorrect, you can go back to the source document and edit it.
Factual Cody's goal is to be accurate, and it will prompt you to reach out to the relevant department if it cannot find the information you're looking for. While Creative Cody is there to to use your content as context to create new content.
