Rerunning Tasks

Rerunning a task allows Cognibuild to generate an updated version of a section within a deliverable.

After reviewing the output produced by a task, users may decide that the content needs refinement or additional detail.

Rerunning the task instructs Cognibuild to process the supporting documentation again and generate a revised version of the content.

This allows users to improve and refine their documentation as the project evolves.

Why Users Rerun Tasks

Project documentation often develops through multiple iterations.

Users may rerun tasks to:

  • improve or refine the generated content

  • reflect updated project information

  • incorporate additional supporting documentation

  • adjust the output to better match the intended deliverable

Each time a task is rerun, Cognibuild performs new AI processing and generates an updated output for that section of the document.

Updating Sections of a Deliverable

Tasks generate individual sections of a deliverable rather than the entire document at once.

By rerunning tasks, users can update specific sections of the documentation without needing to regenerate the entire deliverable.

This allows the document to evolve gradually as information becomes clearer throughout the project.

Iterating Toward the Final Document

Creating professional documentation often involves reviewing outputs and refining them over time.

Users typically run a task, review the generated content, adjust their inputs if needed, and rerun the task until the section reflects the intended outcome.

This iterative process helps ensure the final documentation is accurate and aligned with the project requirements.
