Cognibuild uses a credit system to manage AI usage within the platform. Credits are consumed when AI-powered processing is used to analyse project documentation or generate sections of deliverables.
Each subscription plan includes a set number of credits that can be used across your projects. When tasks are run, credits are consumed depending on the processing required to analyse the documents and generate the output.
This system allows users to clearly understand their platform usage while keeping the experience simple and predictable.
Credits are primarily used when generating or refining documentation.
When credits are used
Credits are consumed when performing actions such as:
• Running initial tasks to generate sections of a deliverable
• Re-running tasks to refine or improve generated outputs
• Running additional tasks on an existing deliverable
• Chatting with your project documents to explore or understand information
Document chat typically consumes significantly fewer credits compared to running deliverable tasks, as it requires less processing.
Simple actions such as viewing documents, editing outputs, or navigating the platform do not consume credits.
Each subscription plan includes a monthly allocation of credits. These credits automatically renew at the start of each billing cycle.
If you reach your credit limit, you can either upgrade to a higher plan with a larger monthly credit allocation or purchase additional credit bolt-ons. Bolt-on credits are added to your account and remain available until they are used.
