When you produce a deliverable, the output is presented in a document view with a chat alongside it, where you can read the deliverable, ask questions of it, and make edits, refining it until it is right. You can run again at any point, and download the finished document to use however you need.
Editing the document directly
The deliverable opens in the document view, where you can edit the content yourself. You can refine the generated sections, correct wording or formatting, add your own project detail, and adjust the structure. This lets you combine Cognibuild's output with your own expertise and project knowledge. Editing the document manually does not use credits.
Using the chat
Alongside the document is a chat where you can work with the deliverable conversationally. You can ask questions about the deliverable or the supporting documents behind it, ask for parts to be explained or clarified, and request changes. The chat can make edits to the document directly and update it as you go. You can edit manually, through the chat, or both, whichever suits you.
Using the chat involves AI processing, so it uses credits, though typically fewer than running tasks to generate sections.
Refining and running again
Reviewing and editing sits alongside running tasks. Where editing or chatting refines what is already there, running or rerunning a task regenerates a section from your documents. You can move between the two freely as you build the deliverable up, and download it as a Word document whenever it is ready.
