A project is the workspace for one real building project. It holds your documents, your stage cards, and your areas of work.
Stage cards mark where you are in the project. You label and arrange them to match how your work actually divides, one per stage or several for a phase, building the workflow your project follows.
Each stage card holds the areas of work in play at that point. An area of work is one area of project information, such as the Project Brief, the Cost Plan, Project Risks, or the Planning Application. The same area of work can return card after card as the project matures.
There are 26 areas of work, covering the RIBA stages from inception through technical design and into the start of construction. You browse and add them from the Areas of Work Library. Industry knowledge is built into each one, so every area gives you a specialist starting point.
