Introduction
The Card Sorter Activity Template is a fun way to elevate your multiple choice questions. The template uses drag and drop answer selection and allows you to choose from three different skins: Under the Sea, Sea Fishing, and Picnic.
In this template you can use the Multichoice content block to create a variety of question types to present to your users, ranging from True or False questions to matching exercises, with between two to four answer options displayed.
How to use the template
Set up your activity
Navigate to the Content tab and select the Subject that you wish to add the activity to. If you need to create a new Subject for this activity, simply click on Create new subject.
In the Subject, click Create new activity. In the Activity modal, update the name of your Activity (remember, this is the name displayed in your app). Click on the Template dropdown and select Card sorter game. Scroll down and click Save Changes.
In the activity you can select your game skin by clicking on the Template Variant dropdown and choosing from Island, Sea Fishing, or Picnic. Once you've selected your game skin, scroll down and click Save Changes.
Add your content
Navigate to the Topic by clicking on Edit content on the Activities page of your Subject, or Edit Topic in the Activity page, or via the Topic tab.
Once you've opened the Topic click Create new content block.
In the modal give your content block a Data Label, this is an internal identifier.
Click on the Type dropdown and select Multichoice.
Add your question or statement in the User facing label field. This label is what will appear as the drag and drop element in your activity.
Click on Add option and add the relevant options for your question. Remember, the Data label is the internal identifier and the User facing label is what will be displayed in your app to your users.
For one of your answer options, select Set as correct answer.
Click Save Changes.
If you wish to add multiple questions in your activity, you can repeat the above steps.

Creating page views is not required for the Card Sorter Activity Template.
