About External Media
The External Media content type can be used to bring external media into Cogniss. It acts as a web wrapper allowing video players and audio players to be easily integrated into your Cogniss application.
To use this content type, simply:
Create a new content block by clicking the Create new content block button
Assign a Data Label to the content block
Select EXTERNAL_MEDIA as the content type
Add the URL of the media you would like to display
Click Save Changes
đ When adding a YouTube video you can simply use the URL as Cogniss now supports direct video URLs, so there's no need to use an embed link.
